Pain Relief Through Chiropractic Care
At Dublin Chiropractic, we can provide chiropractic treatment and care for many different conditions and ailments. This page provides an overview of our treatment process. Your regimen will be personalised to your needs and might be slightly different from what you read here.
How We Diagnose A Condition
Just like with any other medical problem, proper chiropractic treatment starts with an initial diagnosis. During our questionnaire, consultation and examination, we use the same methodology that all doctors use, including differential diagnosis, MRI’s, and orthopaedic testing.
Before a patient is accepted, we first determine whether chiropractic care can be used to treated your particular condition, or if you require another form of medical treatment that would be more beneficial for your specific situation.
For example, a headache can have many different causes: a pinched nerve, muscle or ligament strain, a brain tumour, an allergic reaction, or a blood infection, to name a few. To properly treat a condition, it will depend on identifying the exact cause of the issue.
After our screening process, and we determine that the cause is something we can treat, we can proceed with chiropractic care or another one of our specialised therapies. If we find that we cannot help your specific situation, we will refer you to a different specialist that will better assist you. At Dublin Chiropractic our goal is to get you back to health and comfort as soon as possible.

What Is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic is a hands-on treatment. Chiropractors perform spinal adjustments. Specific techniques are used by chiropractors to align the vertebrae back to their proper positions. Depending on your particular diagnosis, we may also use other methods, such as spinal decompression therapy or extremity adjustments, to treat problems such as spinal compression, frozen shoulders, and others. The primary goal of chiropractic care is to restore the transmission of nerve impulses. Reestablished nerve transmissions allow the body to accurately relay information to and from the brain so it can better heal itself.
Preventing Future Problems
Preventing a problem occurring in the first place is better in the long run than treating the issue after the fact. It is possible that during your appointments, we suggest personalised adjustments to your diet, change some facets of your lifestyle, or do specific exercises in order so that you to stay healthy and pain-free.
If you have any questions about if chiropractic care is right for you, you can find our questionnaire here. With proper chiropractic care, in many cases, the pain you’re feeling can be reduced or removed entirely. If you have any of the common conditions, we specialise in, don’t wait for the pain to get worse
